Feel the power of an active life

-

Get out on a bike at the North Inch We all know that keeping active is one of the best things we can do to keep ourselves well.

But did you know that physical activity also brings great benefits to anyone living with an existing health condition?

Various studies across the globe, conducted over many years, have all pointed to the same conclusion – exercise can help with pain, cardio health, cancer related issues, mental wellbeing and many more symptoms brought on by disease.

It’s true that when you’re in pain or suffering from an illness you may not feel like getting up and heading to the gym, or joining a group for a walk.

But it is proven to bring relief and you will find that the social side of joining in can be a tonic in itself.

Of course, it is advisable that you take guidance from your health care practitioner and ideally seek specialist help for your new routine.

Once you’ve made the decision to get moving, you will find that, regardless of your illness, there will be an exercise that is suitable for you and that will help you feel better, and in some cases, heal quicker.

Here in Perth, there are many opportunities to access exercise based services for wellness.
