Cosmetic clinic on awards shortlist

- Rachel Clark

A Perth cosmetic clinic has been nominated for a top industry award.

The Tay Medispa on the city’s York Place has been named as a finalist for best new clinic at the Aesthetics Awards.

It means the Perth business is the only Scottish clinic nominated in this category, which will be judged by leading industry experts.

This comes after they won best new clinic at the Scottish Medical Cosmetic Awards earlier this year.

Blanche Golder, the spa’s manager, said:“Tay Medispa is the partnership of husband and wife team Simon and Julia Langford.

“The concept was borne out of changes that were on the horizon in relation to Health Improvement Scotland.

“Dr Julia Langford had been providing facial aesthetic treatments in Perthshire since 2009 and wanted to centralise and expand her services.

“Tay Medispa launched with a vision to bring together the very best professionals across healthcare, aesthetics, wellbeing and holistic therapies.

“We wanted our clients to benefit from having a hub of different services under one roof, a multi-disciplinary approach and ease of cross-referrals.

“Our solid reputation, sense of community and good working environment has allowed us to attract a team of the highest calibre.

“We started as only five and we are now a fantastic team of 20 and growing.

“Tay Medispa provides a wide range of non-surgical facial aesthetics treatments, including injectables, non-surgical facelifts, skin resurfacing and skin rejuvenation.

“These are all complimented by our Zo Skin Health and iS Clinical cosmeceutical range, designed to give proven results.”
