A staffing crisis means a Perthshire minor injuries and illness unit will be closed for three days for the second time this month.

Perth and Kinross health and social care partnershi­p announced earlier this week that Pitlochry MIIU will be closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday next week.

Detective Constable Neil McVean now wants more defibrilla­tors around the Fair City and has set out to raise money to provide more of the life saving machinery.
