-

A man who groped two women at his home has had his name added to the Sex Offenders’ Register for five years after appearing for sentence at Perth Sheriff Court.

Thirty-seven-yearold Andre Le Roux, of Rosebank, Myrtle Road, Scone, was also ordered to carry out 240 hours of unpaid work over the next year.

He was found guilty after a lengthy trial of two charges of sexually assaulting the females.

He had denied that between August 1 and 31, 2014, at his home, he repeatedly touched and fondled the first woman’s breasts.

He was also convicted of a second charge of entering the second woman’s bedroom on occasions between August 15 and October 26, 2016, forcing his hands under the duvet and repeatedly touching and handling her breasts.

That charge had originally claimed that his actions had taken place on “numerous” occasions and he had gone into the bedroom “while she was asleep” but these allegations were deleted.
