Harry Potter ball at the YMCA

-

A charity ball with a Harry Potter theme will take place next month.

Perth and District YMCA will be hosting its annual charity ball at Glenalmond College on Saturday, October 27.

Over the past 22 years, the YMCA has been working in Perth to establish“positive, trustful relationships with disengaged and vulnerable young people throughout the area”.

Each year, almost 300 young people in the area are helped by the charitable organisation to challenge their behaviour and chaotic lifestyles.

The magical evening will include a champagne reception and a three-course meal.

There will also be a charity auction and a raffle to raise funds.

And muggles can then party to music from Swing Sensation.

Perth YMCA are expecting this year to be the“biggest and most extravagant”charity ball yet.

Previously, themed balls they have hosted have included Narnia, Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz and Phantom of the Opera.

Tickets for the charity ball cost £70 each from emma@ymca.com

The evening will be a banquetstyle, so organisers say an odd number of guests can be accommodated to fit, so people are asked to invite as many guests as possible.

Any businesses who want to either sponsor a table or offer an auction or raffle prize can contact danyell@ymcaperth.com
