Opening for seats on the Horsecross Arts board

-

Arts lovers are being sought to get involved in the running of Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre by joining the Horsecross Arts board.

The creative organisation behind Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre is looking to recruit up to two new trustees to join the board.

They will be essential in determining the strategic direction, development and governance of Horsecross Arts.

The post is open to applicants of all ages and backgrounds, although particularly relevant to anyone already active in the local community or with experience in the arts.

The voluntary roles are based on a four-year term of office.

Magnus Linklater CBE, chair of Horsecross Arts, said:“This is a great opportunity for anyone with a passion for arts and culture to help shape the future of our two world-class venues.

“We know, from conversations with our audiences, that there are a lot of people out there with ideas about what we do well, what we could do better – now is their chance to get involved.

“We are particularly interested in people with experience in a number of disciplines including marketing, fundraising, human resources and business development.

“It is a fantastic chance for someone to gain deep insight into the running of an award-winning organisation such as ours, whilst at the same time widening their professional network and applying their skills and experience.”
