Theatregroup’s fundraisingnight

A Perth theatre group is holding a fundraising night tonight.

Ad-Lib Theatre Arts, based in Scott Street in the city centre, is holding a quiz and race night in The Auld Hoose on Friday, October 5.

All the money raised from the night will go towards their Christmas panto, Cinderella.

The quiz will run from 7.30pm until 8.30pm and each team of four costs £10 to enter.

From 9pm, the evening will move to a race night.

The bets are £1 per race, with owners costing £10 and jockeys costing £5.

The winners of the quiz will receive eight free panto tickets and a £40 Tesco voucher.

And for the racing, winning owners will receive two free panto tickets and a bottle of spirit, and winning jockeys will win a bottle of wine and sweets.

Horse winners will also win cash prize.

Ad-Lib’s panto Cinderella will be staged from Friday, December 21 until Sunday, December 23 at the North Inch Community Campus.

Rehearsals are already well underway, and it will be directed by Vicky Glennie.
