Crowds flock to see Enchanted Forest

Hundreds of people have already enjoyed the “wild and wonderful start”to The Enchanted Forest.

The epic light and sound show in Faskally Woods saw hundreds visiting the launch night on Wednesday, October 3.

The Enchanted Forest aims to showcase the autumnal beauty of Highland Perthshire, and 80,000 tickets have already been sold for the event, which started last night and runs until Sunday, November 4.Ian Sim, chairman of The Enchanted Forest Community Trust, said: “The trust was bowled over by the incredible feedback we received tonight for ‘Of the Wild’.

“It’s a tribute to our brilliant creative team and producer of the 2018 show, as well as our talented operations team, all of whom transform Faskally Wood into an enchanted forest every October.

“From humble beginnings as a three-night event with 1500 visitors in 2002, it’s phenomenal to see how much The Enchanted Forest has grown during its 17 years.

“The love and support we have received is amazing and we are looking forward to welcoming a record 80,000 visitors this year.”

The show includes state-of-theart technologi­es and interactiv­e special effects, all set to a specially composed music score to give the theme of ‘Of the Wild’.
