Show racism the red card at McDiarmid Park
On Saturday, October 6, we are hosting a Wear Red Day in aid of Show Racism the Red Card whereby all parents and participants are encouraged to wear something red at our Soccer Saturday sessions.
Sessions will run at a suggested donation of £4 with half of all total donations going to the Show Racism the Red Card education charity. Session times are: Mini Kidz (three to five-yearolds) - 9.30 to 10.30am. Champion Kidz (P1 to P3) - 9.30 to 10.30am. Premier Kidz (P4 to S2) - 10.30 to 11.30am.
SAINTS ACADEMY
A record number of 24 players travelled to Stenhousemuir to take part in the Scottish FA’s Mental Health and Wellbeing league fixtures.
The league aims to harness the power of football to promote mental health and provide a support structure for those who are affected by a range of mental health and wellbeing issues. Three teams from Saints in the Community took part, winning seven of their 13 fixtures.
OCTOBER GOALGETTERS
Our Goalgetters Holiday programme runs throughout the October Holidays and provides football fun for boys and girls aged five to 16-years-old at McDiarmid Park and county venues. No booking is required.
Sessions at McDiarmid Park, from 1–2.30pm, take place from Tuesday, October 9 to Friday, October 12 and then from Tuesday, October 16 to Friday, October 19.
Sessions at Loch Leven Campus Kinross, from 10.30am to 12pm, take place on Tuesday, October 9 and Wednesday, October 10.
McDiarmid Park Mini Kidz sessions for three to five-year-olds, from 1-2pm, take place on Thursday, October 11 and Friday, October 12 and then Thursday, October 18 and Friday, October 19.
McDiarmid Park Goalkeeper sessions for budding keepers aged nine to 16-years-old, from 1- 2.30pm, take place on the same dates as above.
