Blair overcome the youthful Medics

Blairgowrie scored again down the right side with flanker Davie Grieve after some great hands from the backline.
Finlay Ormiston was once again successful with the boot.
Not long after the subsequent kick-off the east Perthshire squad had a man sent to the bin for being persistently offside.
The medics, however, were unable to capitalise on the man advantage and Blairgowrie scored again through John McLaren, which was unconverted.
Blairgowrie did well to see out the 10-minute sin bin unscathed as the Medics were running fast, hard and with purpose.
The home side managed to work their way down the pitch and were awarded with a lineout five metres from the Medics’line.
The Blairgowrie forward pack took the ball down and trundled over the line, with the try scored by captain Liam McLaren on his first start back after a long lay off through injury.
It was successfully converted, which meant the score at half-time was 29-0 to Blairgowrie.
The break did not seem to work to Blairgowrie’s advantage and they spent a bit of time pinned back in their own half, eventually losing a try down the left side.
This was unconverted but the pressure continued and Blairgowrie had another man sent to the bin for persistent high tackling.
The Medics took full advantage and scored again down the left side, which was also unconverted.
It took until the final five minutes for Blairgowrie to get back their attacking prowess.
Finlay Ormiston scored after a great run from John McLaren, who off-loaded from the deck.
The score was unconverted but, just before the final whistle, Blairgowrie whipped the ball from left to right with substitute Tom Helyer scoring a converted try after breaking a tackle.
