Double winners

Perth Triathlon Club has scooped a prestigious title for the second year running.

Fair City athletes performed across 2018 to take the small clubs category prize in the Triathlon Scotland legend rankings series.

The series rewards consistent participation in events including cross triathlon, duathlon, sprint and standard distance triathlon.

Two category prizes - large club for 150-plus members and small club for up to 149 members - were up for grabs.

All eligible club members’individual ranking points are added up and the club with the most points wins the title for that year.

A number of Perth Triathlon Club members made it onto the ranking series table and some made it into the top three for their age and gender category.

Results: Gillian Kennedy was first in her category (vintage) for cross, duathlon, sprint and standard.

William Bunyan was first in his category (vintage) for the standard and second in his category for sprint rankings.

Mike Harvey was first in his category (super veteran) for the sprint rankings.

Laura Kent was second in her category (veteran) for both sprint and standard rankings.

David Innes was third in his category (super veteran) for the duathlon rankings.
