Dementia Cafe date

Perth’s dementia cafe will be holding an awareness day next month.

Held on Wednesday, March 6, the dementia cafe will hold the event in the city’s North Church on Mill Street.

A range of information stalls will be set up on the day, which is aimed at people who have been diagnosed with dementia, and their carers.

Susette Walker from the dementia cafe said:“In addition to our regular first Wednesday of the month dementia cafe, we would like to invite anyone with an interest in helping someone with dementia to be aware of the help and guidance that is available in Perth and Kinross.

“We have invited a range of organisations to take stalls in order for the public to access vital caring information.’’

She added:“We serve delicious cakes and coffee from 10am until 12.30pm with a warm welcome from our professional staff .’’
