Trust is looking for osprey volunteers
Volunteers are needed for a three-month residential in Perthshire.
The Scottish Wildlife Trust will be looking to hire two residential species protection volunteers for the three-month residential stint.
They will be based at the Loch of the Lowes nature reserve near Dunkeld, and will focus on ospreys.
A spokesperson for the trust said: “This is your chance to help preserve an iconic species.
“Our nesting ospreys require 24/7 surveillance and we are looking for two volunteers to help our species protection staff monitor the nest site, occasionally at night and to liaise with daily volunteers.
“There is the opportunity to observe the local beaver population mainly through reviewing camera footage.
“This is a live-in opportunity with free onsite wooden cabin style accommodation provided for successful candidates.”
The closing date is Friday, February 15.
