A Perth dental practice is celebrating after one of their own scooped up the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to Dentistry 2018 Award at the annual Dentistry Scotland Awards.

Dr Elaine Halley of Cherrybank Dental Spa was presented with her prize at The Dentistry Scotland Awards by FMC Professional, an awardwinning dental communications company, Marriott Hotel in Glasgow.

The awards formally recognise excellent dentistry being carried out by teams and individuals throughout Scotland, recognising progress, effort and enterprise in general practice dentistry.

The winning individuals and team members represent the rising standards in Scottish dentistry and the tremendous efforts to provide a higher calibre of patient experience.

Dr Halley said of her win: “I am thrilled and honoured to receive this award and look forward to continuing the hard work and dedication in achieving outstanding results in dentistry.

“This award is a testament to the excellent work of our team at Cherrybank, and I would like to thank our patients and community.”

Last month Dr Halley was also one of 35 instructors invited to attend the first ever conference for global Digital Smile Design Instructors and Key Opinion Leaders in Madrid at the Digital Smile Design headquarters.
