Other budget proposals at a glance:

•Reduction in parent council budget by 50 per cent saving £20,000

•Reduction in budget available for reactive repairs to potholes by 50 per cent saving £300,000

• A 50 per cent reduction in spending on play areas and maintenanc­e saving £25,000

• A 10 per cent rise in on and off street parking charges

• Increases at North Inch Golf Course include a rise by £40 to £339 for adults and a rise of £60 for senior citizens up to £289 for a full golf season ticket, which will last from April 2019 - March 2020

• Increase of £1 for trolley hire and £2 for buggy hire

• Burial charges increase for adults over 21 rise from £881 to £907 for a full lair and from £440 to £453 for a half lair

• The cost for a planning applicatio­n to have a high hedge removed increased to £300

• Schools and community campuses could charge for letting out the facility

• For standard hire £10-20 per hour, depending on size of facility, or £6-12 for under 18s to use, also depending on size of facility

•The Perth High Community Sports Hub will now also begin to charge the same rates as other community campuses

•Rent at supported accommodat­ion Wellbank Housing increase by £3.53 per week, around £15 per month, to £238.36

• New taxi license increase by £30 after an increase to £140 for a one year license and a £195 for a three year license

• Proposed £5 increase in taxi operators license, private car hire license, advertisin­g license and window cleaning license
