Reward scheme for Perth bus users

-

Gift Card, Miconex has been in business for eight years. It has seen sales of its Perth Gift Card grow from £30 000 in its opening year in 2015 to £85 000 last year.

Colin Munro, managing director of Miconex said: “Perth is the first city in the UK to be able to say that we are rewarding people for shopping locally.

“So now you can feel rewarded as you get the bus into Perth; when you go to the cinema or to see a show; when you go for a swim or get your haircut; when you go out for dinner or shop at one of Perth’s great independent businesses.”

Jon Oakey, acting managing director, Stagecoach East Scotland is delighted to team up with the Mi Rewards iniative.

He said: “We hope new and existing bus users will take advantage of our double points offer available during this half-term holiday when they are out and about, using local retailers and services and making the most of everything Perth and the wider region has to offer.”

Councillor Angus Forbes, convener of Perth and Kinross Council’s environment and infrastructure committee said: “We are absolutely delighted that Stagecoach has joined the Mi Rewards programme. The key benefit for local residents is that it’s so easy to get involved. The
