NEW MOBILITY SCOOTERS BAGGED BY SERVICE
Dave McLellan is pictured thanking Bryan Edwards and Tesco staff Four new mobility scooters were recently purchased by PKAVS Perth Shopmobility thanks to money awarded by the Tesco Bags of Help Scheme.
Shopmobility co-ordinator Dave McLellan was delighted to receive the new scooters.
He said:“We now have 17 scooters of all shapes and sizes but unfortunately many are over seven-years-old and need replacing.
“Receiving four brand new scooters is fantastic and I know that our service users will be equally delighted.
“A huge thank you to all the customers who recently voted for Shopmobility at the Perth Tesco stores.
“Without the ongoing support from the local community and companies like Tesco we could not continue to assist as many people as we do”.
Bryan Edwards, Tesco store manager, added:“I am delighted to see the Bags of Help scheme benefiting such a fantastic and helpful organisation like Shopmobility”.
The award winning service is located in Canal Street multi-storey car park. It allows anyone with a mobility problem the loan of electric scooters and both powered and manual wheelchairs to allow them to get out and about in the town centre.
