A free family fun session at Loch Leven Community Library is on this weekend.

The event, arranged in partnershi­p with Friends of Loch Leven Community Library and the Scottish Women’s Institute, takes place on Saturday, February 23, 1pm- 2.30pm.

The community learning and developmen­t team is running a family crafts session. And visitors can also find out more about library services as well as informatio­n on other local groups, and meet their local learning and developmen­t worker.

Another session takes place in the library on Saturday, March 2 ,1pm2.30pm.

Christophe­r Connor Adam Gallagher (26) uttered the threats at Alyth Health Centre awhen he was asked to attend there after contacting NHS 24, Perth Sheriff Court heard on Wednesday.

A doctor managed to convince Gallagher, who formerly lived in Smith Lane, Blairgowri­e, to hand over the axe after making the chilling threats on October 23, 2017.
