A number of dementia-friendly film screenings will be held in Perth.
Once a month, a classic film will be shown in Perth Playhouse with a dementiafriendly approach.
Each of the films will be shown on a Friday at 11.30am, and costs £5 per person.
The first of these films for 2019 will be today (Friday, February 22) with ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
A spokesperson for the cinema said: “Each month we’ll be bringing you a dementiafriendly screening of an old, classic film that is perfect for all generations to enjoy.
“The lights will be lowered and volume turned down to create a calmer and more relaxed environment, with customers free to move around during the movie.
“It is on at 11.30am on a Friday each month, with tickets priced at just £5 per person.”
The next film will be on Friday, March 22 with ‘Fiddler on the Roof ’.
