Now how often do women talk about the menopause without fear of upsetting others? Ensuring it feels fine to speak about it, there’s a Menopause Café at the Glassrooms Café, Perth Concert Hall on March 8 making everybody welcome from 1-2pm.

On March 5, is a forum for women’s issues at Perth Theatre.

A free event by the Perth Women’s Collective at 6.30pm provides a space for women to talk and to listen, to be celebrated, and for anyone and everyone to continue the conversati­on around gender equality.

On March 7, RASAC P&K will examine some of the roots of violence against women and girls stemming from gender inequality in society.

‘From Gender Stereotype­s to Gender Based Violence’ is an informativ­e workshop held at RASAC P&K, 16 King Street in Perth, starting at 6pm. This event is free.

On March 8 at Perth Museum and Art Gallery a panel discussion will look at how far women have come in the 100 years since they were granted the vote. Starting at 7.30pm, ‘100 Years of the Women’s Vote in Britain: How Far Have We Come?’ will throw up some inspiring and interestin­g reflection, debate and conversati­on.
