The Fyfe trophy winners were Jim McCallum, Jim Haggart, Paul Figures and Elizabeth Brown, with runners up Alastair MacKay, Sam Davie, Ian Page and Ted Ludford Smith. The service on Sunday, July 7, led by Rev MacDougall, will be held in Scone New Church at 10.45am.

This will be followed by coffee in the Balformo Road Hall.

The Hub continues to meet on Wednesdays from 10am to noon over the summer months.

Everyone will be made most welcome to any of the above services. McMillan 67%, 2 - M&M Porritt 49.5%, and 3 - J Rough/A Young 49%.

John Bray with his writing group of P6/7 from Ruthvenfie­ld Primary School A date for the next church fete has been confirmed as Saturday, September 7, and organisers encourage everyone to keep this date free in their diary.

Lottery winning numbers this week were 6, 8, 13 and 20. There was no winner.

Prize money next week will now be £2184. Sunday’s morning worship is at 10.30am in St Madoes and Kinfauns Parish Church.

The Madoch Centre will be closed until Monday, July 15, with the exception of Sunday worship and Summertime Tuesday.

The Summertime Tuesday event offers coffee and tea, cake and chat and is open to all.

It runs from 1.30pm to 3pm in the Castle Room of the Madoch Centre. Transport is available if it is required.

All events are held in the Madoch Centre, unless stated otherwise.
