Circuit training every Tuesday at McDiarmid

Saints Circuits continue at McDiarmid Park on Tuesday evenings from 7– 8pm. If you are keen to take part in some regular exercise, then get in touch. The cost is £40 for a block of 10 sessions but Saints in the Community will be happy to accept new participan­ts at any time. HOLIDAY GOALGETTER­S Our drop-in holiday Soccer Camps for pupils currently in P1 to S2, costing £5 per session, will continue throughout the summer at McDiarmid Park from 1 to 2.30pm on the following dates: July 23, 24 and 25; July 29 to August 2; August 5 to August 9.

There is no requiremen­t to book, simply turn up and play. Everyone who attends will receive a free family ticket for a Saints home fixture. COUNTY GOALGETTER­S Our drop-in holiday Soccer Camps for pupils in P1 to S2 will return for summer at county venues, costing £5 per session. Dates are: Crieff on July 30 and 31 from 10.30am-12pm; Blairgowri­e on August 1 and 2 from 10.30am-12pm. There is no requiremen­t to book, simply turn up and play. WALKING FOOTBALL Congratula­tions went to Saints in the Community’s Walking Football squad who recently took part in the annual Scottish Cup and Festival in Glasgow.

Walking football sessions will continue throughout the summer break. Men and women aged 50 and over are invited to join the group for a weekly recreation­al session at McDiarmid Park on a Thursday from 7.30-8.30pm.

The rules are simple. The ball should remain on the ground, no tackles from behind and, importantl­y, no running. It’s £4 per session. SAINTSTEAS­ER Last week: Paddy Cregg is the member of the 2014 cup-winning squad who now plays for Montrose.
