Pair put on thinking ‘caps’ with footie fashion show
Siblings hope event will help fund their projects
spending a year living in Cambodia and working with the charity Project Trust.
Project Trust works with school leavers to go to developing countries around the world to help with infrastructure.
Ruby will be spending her year working with teenagers who face a number of challenges in accessing education, and will work in schools to teach English as a foreign language.
However, between them Joseph needs to raise £2400 and Ruby requires £6200, and they are hoping this weekend’s fashion show will do the trick.
The designs on show have been created by Emma, who is currently studying fashion and textile design at Robert Gordon University.
Emma picked the football theme because of the links Joseph’s Fringe venue has to the sport.
In particular, the menswear section of the show will focus on football and will feature vintage football tops and materials used to create cool pieces of clothing.
Emma is an award-winning Designer Emma Grieshaber and Joseph Hollas (front) with models Dylan Ramage, Blair Cunningham, Megan Roberts and Neil Robertson
fashion designer, having won the John Gray Legacy Award and the Weaver Incorporation Award.
She has also recently studied under Christopher Raeburn and
Patrick McDowell fashion houses in London, where she focused on sustainable fashion and how to battle ‘fast fashion’ trends which are damaging the environment.
The fashion show begins at 8pm at The Venue and tickets cost £9 from www.seetickets.com/event/ grieshabe-x-hollas-fundraisingfashion-show/the-venue/
