Jeff Zycinski will be in conversati­on at Breadalban­e Community Campus businesses -got behind the show andturnedo­ut to buy tickets and raise thousands of pounds for the club.

“Barbara Dickson was on topform - the music was great and she stayed to answer questions from local fans.

“Jackie compered the evening and we, in the production team, were bowled over by the welcome we received.”

Jeff said there is a special treat in store when he comes to visit foranyone who remembers this show 17 years ago.

He continued:“I recently came across the video footageof that night - it shows extracts from the concert as well as all the preparatio­ns andhappy chaos that was going on behind the scenes.

“I’ll be showing that video whenI come back to Aberfeldy.”

‘The Red Light Zone’is described as an insider’s laughand tell of BBC Radio andis filled with Jeff’s adventures from the Highlands to Hollywood.

Jeff will read extracts from the book and will play audio and video clips to illustrate the different stagesin his career, including his early days as a news reporter in Inverness and short spell as a stand-up comedian in glasgow.

He will also describe his run ins with MargaretTh­atcher, Princess Anne, Richard Branson and Chris Evans.

Jeff Zycinski will be at Breadalban­e Community Library in the community campusin Aberfeldy on Friday, August 30 from 7pm.

Tickets for the event are free and will be available from Breadalban­e library, and there will be a chance to buy signed copies of his book on the night.
