October holiday camp football with Saints

Saints in the Community’s drop-in holiday Soccer Camps for pupils in P1 to S2 will return for October.

Dates and times are: McDiarmid Park, October 7 to 11 from 1-2.30pm (£5 per session); McDiarmid Park, October 14 to 18 from 1-2.30pm (£5 per session); Loch Leven Campus, October 8 and 9 from 10.30am-12pm (£5 per session).

No requirement to book, simply turn up and play. MINI KIDZ - HOLIDAY The holiday programme for preschoolers aged three to five years old will return during the October holidays, costing £4 per session. Dates and times are: McDiarmid Park, October 11 and October 18 from 1-2pm; Loch Leven Campus, October 8 from 10.30 to 11.30am. MEN’S FOOTBALL FANS IN TRAINING Are you aged 35 to 65? Do you have a waist size of 38 inches or more? FFIT may be just the ticket to help you kick-off a healthier lifestyle.

This free 13-week programme differs from the normal‘weight-loss’initiatives out there. From good ideas about what and how much to eat, tips on changing your lifestyle, or introducing simple opportunities to exercise, everyone can be a winner at FFIT. Every Thursday, 6.30 to 8pm, starting September 26. SQUADTRAINING A six-week development squad training for outfield players and goalkeepers in P5 to S2 will return on September 26 from 5-6pm at McDiarmid.

At the training squad, learn the art of defending, how to effectively master both defensive and attacking situations in the midfield area and how to develop attacking skills. With the goalkeeper squad, sessions will cover basic handling and distribution, agility, how to effectively deal with crosses and positioning. Places must be booked.
