MONDAY CLUB
The club meet again on October 7 in the church halll at 2.30pm. Glenfarg SWI is coming along to entertain. All welcome to come along for a cuppa, chat and to listen to the entertainment.
WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
The next meeting is on Wednesday, October 9 in the church hall at 7.30pm. Hilda Clow is coming along to demonstrate ‘simple yoga’. All ladies welcome.
CHATTERBOX CHURCH
A variety of dried groceries was generously donated to the harvest thanksgiving service in Caputh on Sunday. Service was conducted by Rev Peggy Ewart Roberts. Ann Hooton read the lessons with Ian Young accompanist. The goods were transported to CATH’s kitchen in Perth. Morning service will be held in Clunie Church this Sunday at the usual time of 11.15.
The monthly parish lunch will be served in Caputh session room on Tuesday,
The Macmillan Cancer Support Group raised £1275.70 at their coffee morning in the hall. Thank you to all helpers and all who donated.
Thursday, October 10, new season of meetings in Millbridge Hall, Kinross at 2pm, doors will be open from 1.30pm. Speaker Margaret Gimblett, district organiser, Perth and Kinross for Scotland’s Garden Scheme (The Yellow Book), talk entitled ‘Open Gardens of Scotland: The gardens behind the scenes.’ Membership fees are £20 for the year and £5 for visitors.
