Circus offers free tickets to elderly people in care homes

Perth’s very own circus troupe is performing its annual show in Perth this weekend.

Adventure Circus is performing its latest show ‘Reminisce’on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2.

It will be staged in the Goodlyburn Theatre at Perth College UHI and there will be a performanc­e at 7.30pm each night and a Saturday matinee at 2pm.

It will feature circus skills such as aerial, aerobalanc­e, juggling, hula hooping and dance.

The show focuses on an elderly couple looking through their photo album and reminiscin­g about memories from their life.

They will look at major milestones over the lifetime, including their school days, their first date and their wedding day.

Gemma Simpson, director of Adventure Circus, said:“We are really proud to produce high quality circus theatre for our local community, and our cast has really stepped up this year to deliver what is our most ambitious show to date.

“Our acts are inspired by our childhood, friends and family and are a look back at how times have changed, culminatin­g in playful, dramatic, poignant and show stopping scenes.
