Awards shine light on region’s business stars

-

Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Star Awards 2019 are set to shine the spotlight on an array of new and familiar companies and individuals as the region’s new leading lights are revealed.

A galaxy of 16 new business stars will be crowned at the Binn Group sponsored black-tie awards dinner at Crieff Hydro Hotel on November 22.

A host of category finalists and winners will be recognised and rewarded during the event at which the winner of the ultimate accolade - Perthshire business of the year 2019, is revealed.

Renowned as the biggest night of the year in Perthshire’s business world, around 460 people from the local business community will come together to celebrate.

Chamber chief executive Vicki Unite promises another “night to remember”.

“It’s a really special evening for everyone - not just those on tenterhooks waiting to see if they have won an award,” she said. “It’s a wonderful night out as everyone joins to celebrate the very best in local business.

“We can’t wait to see the results of this year’s long and robust judging process and witness the new business stars as they shine on the night.”

Binn Group CEO Allan MacGregor added: “The star awards has become a highly successful, enjoyable and entertaining premiere event on the Perthshire business calendar, and Binn Group is proud and delighted to be associated with such a key gathering that not only recognises and rewards excellence but also encourages and promotes young and aspiring businesses and personnel.

The annual business showcase hosted by awardwinning broadcaster, journalist and event host Stephen Jardine opens with a sparkling drinks reception at 7pm.

Specially designed and handcrafted Caithness Glass trophies await the event winners.

Celebrations will go on late into the night with live band Groove Culture and disco favourites until 1am.

Guests can also take advantage of a free bus service between Perth and Crieff Hydro, courtesy of Stagecoach Group, which they can book through the chamber.
