LET’S SING GROUP

Let’s Sing! will next meet this Sunday, November 10 in Kinross Parish Church in Station Road, Kinross at 2.30pm to 4pm. It is an informal singing group for people with dementia and their carers.

KINROSS-SHIRE CIVIC TRUST

The annual dinner and talk of Kinrossshi­re Civic Trust will take place on Tuesday, November 12. The event will begin at 7.30pm and will be held in the Grouse and Claret in Kinross. The speaker for the evening will be Simon Montgomery, senior casework officer, of the heritage directorat­e at Historic Environmen­t Scotland. It will be an illustrate­d talk about the interestin­g work of the organisati­on. Tickets cost £35 (includes wine and canapé reception and a three-course dinner). RSPB LOCH LEVEN EVENTS

An introducti­on to star gazing will take place at the RSPB Loch Leven reserve on Tuesday, November 12. Doors open at 7pm until 9pm. Experts from the Dalgety Bay astronomy club will host this special event. Admission costs: RSPB members £10/child members £4, non-members £12/non-member child £6.

‘A trip back in time: Mary Queen of Scots’ with Dr David Munro will be held at the reserve on Saturday, November 16 at 7pm. It costs: RSPB members £8/child members £3, non-members £10/child non-members £5. A wildlife writing workshop with author and poet, Anita John will be held on Sunday, November 17. Doors open at 10am until 2pm. The cost is RSPB members £10/non-members £15. COMMON GROUNDS GROUP

The next annual general meeting of the Common Grounds group will take place in the Guide hall in Church Street, Milnathort on Wednesday, November 13, starting at 1pm. All welcome.

KINROSS GARDEN GROUP

The Kinross Garden Group will hold its next meeting on Thursday, November 14 in Millbridge Hall in Kinross at 2pm. The speaker for the afternoon will be Michael Almond from Perth, who will talk about ‘the plants of the Gargano Peninsula, Italy, in spring’. New members are always welcome. LOCH LEVEN COMMUNITY LIBRARY

KLEO EVENTS
