Football sessions can be real winter warmer
Recreational football sessions for pupils in P1 to S2 continue throughout the winter term until Saturday, December 21 with the cost of £4 per session.
Days and times are: Monday from 5pm to 6pm, Wednesday from 5pm to 6pm, Saturday from 9.30am to 10.30am for pre-school to P3 and then 10.30am to 11.30am for P4 to S2. WALKING FOOTBALL The rules are simple: the ball should remain on the ground, no tackles from behind and, importantly, no running.
Sessions are every Thursday at 7.30pm on the synthetic pitch at McDiarmid Park. Men and women are invited to get involved who, for whatever reason, cannot keep up with the pace of the traditional game.
There is no requirement to pre-book, simply turn up, register and pay £4. HOLIDAY GOALGETTERS Drop-in holiday sessions will return to McDiarmid Park in December on the following dates: Goalgetters (P1 to S2) – December 23, 24 and 27 from 1pm to 2.30pm.
FOOTBALL MEMORIES The free Football Memories reminiscence sessions now take place in Perth, Blairgowrie and Aberfeldy.
