Black Friday on the buses
Perth-based Stagecoach has announced plans to offer their first Black Friday weekend deal where customers can travel anywhere in East Scotland for £5.
The offer will be valid from Friday, November 29 until Sunday, December 1 and will allow customers to buy an East Scotland dayrider ticket which offers unlimited travel across Angus, Clackmannanshire, Dundee, Edinburgh, Fife, Forth Valley, Perthshire and into Glasgow and Aberdeen.
This means customers can take a return trip across the East of Scotland, whether travelling locally or city to city.
The offer aims to encourage more people to use public transport and to ditch the car for their shopping trips in the run up to the Christmas period.
The normal price of an East Scotland dayrider is £16, meaning customers can enjoy an £11 saving.
The ticket is available to buy from the driver by asking for an East Scotland dayrider or Black Friday dayrider or will be available to buy and use on a mobile device, via the Stagecoach Bus app.
