Gift of Christmas with festive football fun
Drop-in holiday sessions for pupils in P1 to S2 will return to McDiarmid Park in December on the following dates: Goalgetters – December 23, 24 and 27 from 1pm to 2.30pm. FESTIVE FRIENDS Saints in the Community are delighted to once again be hosting a Festive Friends lunch in partnership with the SPFL Trust.
The event will provide a hot Christmas lunch, music and importantly companionship for the elderly at this time of year. Saints look forward to celebrating with their Football Memories guests on December 13. WALKING FOOTBALL The rules are simple: the ball should remain on the ground, no tackles from behind and, importantly, no running. Sessions are every Thursday at 7.30pm on the synthetic pitch at McDiarmid Park.
Men and women are invited to get involved who, for whatever reason, cannot keep up with the pace of the traditional game. There is no requirement to pre-book, simply turn up, register and pay £4 upon arrival. Give it a go and reignite your love for the game. GOALKEEPING SQUADS An addition to the usual timetable, SITC are thrilled to announce the next six-week block of Goalkeeping Squads will begin on January 16, 2020.
Delivered by Scott Findlay and Ross Sinclair, participants will develop their basic handling, distribution, agility, positioning and much more. Places must be booked and paid in advance via the website. The cost is £30 per block. CHRISTMAS SHOPPING Are you shopping online this Christmas?
