Perth Silent Auction is a sporting dream

-

Sports lovers are chasing winners in the Perth Silent Auction.

The final whistle will sound tomorrow morning, with the first lot being sold at 10am in the annual fundraiser teed-up by the Rotary Club of Perth in tandem with the team at the Perthshire Advertiser.

More than 400 lots go under the virtual hammer, one after the other, and the winners will be the Cornhill Macmillan Cancer Centre in Perth, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and lots of local good causes.

Scotland rugby legend Doddie Weir’s determination to support much-needed research and support for sufferers after being diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease has attracted support from far beyond the oval ball game and his homeland.

There’s a number of Doddie memorabilia up for grabs.
