Under starter’s orders for Saints race night

Saints in the Community will be hosting a Race Night at McDiarmid Park on Saturday, February 15. In aid of their 20/20 football programme, you can support the event in the following ways: attend on the night (£4), sponsor the night (£150), sponsor a race (£25), own a horse (£5), buy a jockey (£5). PRE-SCHOOL FOOTBALL

The Mini Kidz programme is developed for pre-school boys and girls aged three, four or five. This programme is not only an introduction to football, but also aims to develop basic motor and social skills.

Sessions take place on a Saturday from 9.30am at McDiarmid Park. The cost is £4. SATURDAY MEMBERSHIP

Soccer Saturday sessions for pupils in P1 to S2 return this weekend and the new Saturday membership can be purchased now. Membership entitles you to each upcoming Saturday session at McDiarmid Park until June 27 and £1 discount on all Goalgetter holiday courses, including the summer.

Families will also receive one complimentary family ticket for a Saints home fixture. The cost is £65 for six months membership – 21 Saturday sessions for the price of 17.

HOLIDAY GOALGETTERS AT MCDIARMID Goalgetters Soccer Camps for pupils in P1 to S2 will return for the February in-service holidays. Dates are February 12, 13 and 14 from 1pm-2.30pm, with the cost of £5 per session.

TRAINING SQUADS

The next six-week block of Training Squads for outfield players will begin on February 27 at McDiarmid Park.

Participants will learn the art of defending, how to start attacks from the back and when best to make your attacking move. Sessions are Thursday from 5-6pm. Places must be booked and paid in advance. It’s £30 per block. SAINTSTEASER
