Learn the game with Saints’ training squad

The next six-week block of Training Squads for outfield players will begin on February 27 at McDiarmid Park.

Delivered by UEFA‘B’licence coach, Josh Henderson, participants will learn the art of defending, how to start attacks from the back positions, respond quickly to transitions and learn when best to make your attacking move.

Sessions are Thursdays from 5-6pm and places must be booked and paid in advance via the website. The cost is £30 per block.

GOALKEEPING SQUADS

The next six-week block of Goalkeeping Squads will also begin on February 27.

Delivered by Scott Findlay and Ross Sinclair, participants will develop their basic handling, distribution, agility, positioning and much more. Sessions are Thursdays from 5-6pm.

HOLIDAY GOALGETTERS

Drop-in holiday Soccer Camps for pupils in P1 to S2 will return in April on the following dates: April 6 to 10 from 1pm-2.30pm (£5) and April 13 to 17 from 1pm-2.30pm (£5) or 1pm-4pm (£10).

There is no requirement to book, simply turn up and play. Everyone who attends will receive a free family ticket for a St Johnstone home fixture.

COUNTY GOALGETTERS

For pupils in P1 to S2, the Easter camps will take place in various venues throughout Perth and Kinross.

Kinross: Loch Leven Campus, April 7 and 8 – 10.30am-12pm. Crieff: Strathearn Campus, April 9 and 10 – 10.30am-12pm. Pitlochry: Recreation Ground, April 13 and 14 – 10.30am12pm. Aberfeldy: Home Street Pitch, April 13 and 14 – 1.30pm-3pm. Blairgowrie: Blairgowrie Campus, April 15 and 16 – 10.30am-12pm.
