Help shape the future of trading

Perthshire Chamber is part of the Scottish Chamber of Commerce International Trade Partnership.

This project enables chambers across the network to join forces and host a series of inward missions to Scotland and outward missions throughout the world.

Perthshire Chamber currently has a survey which is open to all Scottish businesses to identify their current exporting and trade activities and ambitions.

The results will be used to create a bespoke suite of support elements working in partnership with Perth and Kinross Council, Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Development International as well as our fellow chambers.

Sectors ripe for exporting include the more obvious items such as whisky and food stuffs, but also services such as training, knowledge and expertise.

For some Perthshire businesses, trade growth will start outwith this area and into other parts of Scotland.

For others it means developing business into England.

Whatever your reach and however far – UK, EU or globally - it is important to be equipped with as much information as possible.

The outcome of a trade mission may be that the decision is taken not to venture into a specific area.

That informed decision is as important and positive an outcome as a move into that area.
