BLAIRGOWRIE

CONCERT

The Blairgowrie Lyric Choir will be hosting their next spring concert on Saturday, May 2 in St Catharine’s hall at 7pm. Tickets cost £6 with refreshments available after the concert. Contact any member of the choir on 01250 872682 for details.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 11 in the church hall at 7.30pm. Sarah Mitchel of Macnabs will be coming along to give an insight into wills and power of attorney. All ladies welcome.

OLD TYME DANCE

The next dance will be held on Friday, March 13 in the Institute from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Music will be provided by the Scott Band. Tickets cost £5, and includes tea and biscuits. They will be available at the door on the night.

BOWLING CLUB

The members welcomed a speaker from the Sailors’ Society, a Guild project at their recent meeting, held in the church halls in Woodside, who talked to them about the organisation.

An annual spring coffee morning will take place next Saturday, March 14 in the church halls, Woodside from 10am to noon. All the usual stalls will be on offer as well as a raffle.

Admission costs £3 for adults, £1 for children.

Donations for the cake and candy stall and tombola would also be welcomed. Proceeds from this event will go to Guild projects.

BOWLING CLUB

The club’s annual bingo tea event will be held in Burrelton village hall on Friday, March 20 at 7.30pm. There will be an entry fee of £1, which includes light refreshments.
