Salon set to open in style

-

A large hair and nail salon in Perth has had a deep clean and staff are excited to be ready to take hair bookings this week and get filing nails again next week.

Nail Diamond in Perth, run by Stacey Anderson, has been open at its present location for the past year. The place at 133 South Street is on two levels, with hair and nails downstairs and beauty treatments and a training academy upstairs.

Her team took their first hair clients on Wednesday, July 15 and nails and other treatments are back on Wednesday, July 22.

“Following COVID-19, every one of our ten staff members has been retaining their jobs with the furlough scheme and government support grants,”explained Stacey.“We are now by appointment only which can be booked at www. naildiamondperth.com or on 01738 248306. Sometimes we have on-the-day spaces available.”

She added:“All staff will be in full PPE, including visor masks, gloves and aprons, all of which will be changed after every client. All our work stations and tools will also be thoroughly cleaned in between clients. We have several hand sanitising stations as you come in and throughout the salon for clients use and staff will be washing their hands before and after each client and regularly throughout the day. We will also be using single use disposable nail files, so the same file will never be used twice.

“Also, we have temporarily suspended refreshments and magazines, but hope to bring this back in the near future”

Customers must wear a face mask unless a medical condition prevents this.
