Support for creatives at Growbiz meeting
GrowBiz’s regular Creative Peer Support event welcomes speaker Sharon Stephen from The Personal Development Coach at their next meet on Monday, August 3.
Sharon has spent the last 20 years working and supporting artists, business owners, musicians, individuals and creative organisations across Scotland and beyond.
She will be discussing how personal coaching can be a simple yet very effective way to support yourself at any time in your career, and is particularly helpful in these current, ever-changing times.
Creatives often work in isolation and find it hard to make the time to check in with themselves and their business. They may find themselves stuck in a creative rut, have too many potential paths to explore, or simply be in need of some help to set, prioritise and achieve their goals.
For creatives who feel any of the above scenarios sound familiar, or who simply want some tips on how to reflect on their creative practice, this Creative Peer Support Session could be just what they need to help them refocus and plan ahead.
GrowBiz Enterprise Facilitator Caron Ironside said:“Changing times mean that, like every business sector, creatives are looking at how they can develop new ways of working.
“We are delighted that Sharon will be sharing her unique insight and ideas with participants, many of whom work alone and appreciate the opportunity to bounce ideas, consider the big questions and get support from someone who understands their sector.
“The session is also a chance to connect with other creatives in a safe, confidential and helpful environment, leading to opportunities for collaborations and networking.”
The event takes place between 4pm and 5.30pm on Zoom as an online session.
