The Balhousie Care Group, which has 26 care homes across Scotland’s North East and Central Belt, is looking for registered general nurses, registered mental health nurses and learning disability nurses.

The care group is keen to recruit nurses from all walks of the profession and experience levels including newly-graduated nurses with opportunities to work with young people with disabilities, specialist care facilities as well as with the elderly.

One of the group’s homes in Perthshire, Rumbling Bridge, is looking for nurses with experience of, or a strong interest in, Huntington’s disease to join their specialist team, who run one of the largest Huntington’s

Other homes, including Dalnaglar in Crieff, are currently recruiting for nurses to join their residential care home teams.

Sheilah Harvey, head of operations at Balhousie Care Group, said: “At Balhousie Care Group, we employ many nurses with a range of specialist skills and experiences – each bringing something unique to our homes and specialist care facilities.

“This is something the company is very proud of, and what better year to join us than 2020 which is the World Health Organisation’s International Year of the Nurse and Midwife.”
