Get you voice heard by cabinet secretary
One of the main benefits of being part of the Perthshire Chamber of Commerce is the opportunities presented to ensure your business voice is heard directly by those in government.
A fairly regular visitor (albeit virtually during the current climate) to Perthshire Chamber members is Fergus Ewing, cabinet secretary for rural economy and tourism.
We are pleased that he joins us, once again, on Friday, March 12, from 3.45pm to 4.30pm. The cabinet secretary’s portfolio covers areas that are critical to the Perth and Kinross economy, covering many of our rural, micro businesses and particularly those related to tourism and hospitality, which are of huge importance to our area with many facing the strictest of restrictions due to the pandemic.
These conversations in the current climate are critical to government understanding the needs of businesses, so please do take the opportunity to represent your relevant sector and specific business issues on this.
The cabinet secretary is responsible for agriculture and crofting, fisheries and aquaculture, food and drink, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, South of Scotland Enterprise Agency, Rural Scotland, animal health, and forestry and tourism - all areas important to the Perthshire economy.
Booking is from the chamber website events page.
