Crieff shared office space reopens

-

A co-working space in the centre of Crieff is set to reopen at the end of the month.

CanDoCrieff welcomes the public back from Monday, April 26 and will be open from 10am til noon from Mondays to Fridays.

A risk assessment has been carried out and procedures are in place to keep visitors safe and give members the confidence to return.

CanDoCrieff, a Crieff Community Trust project, is supported by the Big Lottery Fund and Rural Perth and Kinross LEADER Programme 2014-2020: the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development – Europe investing in rural areas.

A spokesperson for CanDoCrieff said: “CanDoCrieff is part of a new way of working.

“More and more people are reluctant to travel to a busy central office every day, using public transport or driving long distances.

“Many employers are open to their employees working from home some or all of the time.

“There are lots of people in Strathearn who work for themselves, often running their business from home.

“However, not everyone has a good home office set up, or enjoys it – maybe it’s too noisy, too quiet, too cramped or maybe the internet connection is just too slow.

“After a year working from home people are looking forward to being able to put some distance between their work and home lives and interacting with real people again.

“Can Do Crieff is the best of both worlds with superfast broadband, clean, comfortable desks and a friendly yet calm and professional atmosphere – working from home but not at home.

“It will be great to welcome back existing members and see some new faces too.

“You can pop in any morning from 10-noon, Monday, April 26 to Friday, April 30 to have a look around and chat with one of our team. You are also welcome to have a day working from Can Do Crieff free of charge to get a feel for the space before you decide if you want to join.”
