ALMONDBANK

St Serf’s Church: The Rev Robert Malloch led morning worship last Sunday. Prayers and bible readings were given by Peter Cookson. This Sunday the service will begin at the usual time of 10am with government guidelines in place.

BRIDGE OF EARN AND FORGANDENN­Y

Dunbarney and Forgandenn­y Church: The Sunday service over the next few weeks will be held in Dunbarney Church at 10.30am. Facebook Live and telephone broadcast - dial 01738 239392 - will continue as normal and there will also be a physical presence of limited numbers in the church sanctuary.

BURRELTON

Church: The morning worship was led by the Rev Stevie Thomson with Lynne Mitchell as organist. The theme of the service was the 23rd Psalm, The Lord’s my shepherd.

KINCLAVEN

Church: The service for the fourth

Sunday of Easter, also known as Good Shepherd Sunday, was led by Rev Harry Mowbray.

Maureen Mowbray read the Scriptures from Psalm 23 and St John 10: 7-18. The organist was Janet Coyle.

The funeral service for Rev Tom Tait will took place privately in the church on Wednesday 28 at 11am. This was live streamed. Details for this can be had from Rev Mowbray or on the Alyth Parish Church website.

Next Sunday, May 2 the service will be at 9.45am and will be led by Rev Peggy Ewart Roberts.

LUNCARTY AND STANLEY

Redgoton and Stanley Parish Church: We shall ‘go forward as Church’ by resuming Sunday services in Luncarty Church Centre this Sunday, May 2 at 10am, with our interim moderator Rev James Stewart leading us in worship.

The following Sunday, May 9, morning worship will resume in Stanley Village Hall at 10am.

Both buildings have been thoroughly risk assessed and measured according to the current COVID-19 distancing rules, resulting in greatly reduced seating capacity.

Attendance must be pre-registered by phoning 0750834053­8 on Friday evening, between 6pm and 8pm each week.

If you, or someone in your household, has symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the services.

SCONE

Scone and St Martin’s Parish Church: Worship on Sunday, May 2 will be at 9.30am in St Martin’s Church at 10.45am and at noon in Scone Old Church. Guidelines on hand hygiene, social distancing, face coverings and track and trace will be followed. Everybody is very welcome.

ST MADOES

St Madoes and Kinfauns Parish Church: There are two catch-up services each Sunday in the Madoch Centre, one at 9.45am and the other, a repeat of the first, at 11am.

Seats must be booked in advance, before lunchtime on Friday, via either the Eventbrite website or smartphone app, the church website or by phoning the Madoch Centre on 01738 861023. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell.

Café Connect, at the Madoch Centre, has reopened with seating inside and outside.

PERTH

Craigie and Moncreiffe Church of Scotland will hold public worship on Sunday, May 2 at 9.30am in Moncreiffe and 11am in Craigie.

PERTH CIVIL SERVICE CLUB

PCSC is now open and we would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our members new and old.

The club will be open from 12pm11pm, Thursday to Sunday (for the time being), with meals being served from our new menu from 12pm-8pm by our resident caterer Kay Smart.

Last orders are at 7.30pm. Children must be off the premises no later than 7pm, therefore if you have children with you last orders would be 6pm.

Non members are most welcome to dine but must be with and signed in by a member to purchase alcohol.

In our newly extended beer garden, the rule of six people from six households applies with alcohol permitted.

In the bar, lounge or function hall the rule of six people from two households now applies with alcohol prohibited indoors. Table service will apply at all times.

Quick rules to remember: Face coverings must be worn at all times unless seated and we have a one metre rule in place.

Track and trace QR code from check in Scotland will be provided and must be completed for all patrons. A paper version will be available for those unable to use the code.

We also request that everyone keeps to our one-way system throughout the building and good hygiene should be practiced at all times.
