New partnership will make swift changes

-

Jeanfield Swifts amateurs will be shaping up well for the return of competitive football.

The top division Riverside club has announced a partnership with new state-of-the-art training facility ONE Performance Centre.

President of Jeanfield AFC, Graeme Wright, is delighted to be working with the Arran Road-based business moving forward.

He said:“The guys have been working so hard to get their gym underway and we are proud to be joining them on this journey.

“When I first made contact with the boys, I was very impressed with their vision and goals and knew it was something that fitted in very nicely with Jeanfield’s ethos and we really wanted to work with them.

“We can’t wait to get officially started when guidance allows us and I’m sure the boys will be looking forward to getting worked harder than ever before in preparation for next season and beyond.”

Swifts manager Lee Kelman added: “A gym based in our community is important to helping the whole area thrive and I can feel that this partnership is going to go from strength to strength.”

Adam Cameron, one of the owners of ONE Performance Centre, said he leapt at the chance to work with Swifts.

“A team that does enormous amounts of community and charity work was something that we definitely wanted to be associated with and support 100 per cent,”he said. “We are excited to have the team training at our facility in the near future and together we can help improve the team.”
