Man accused of b i t i ng off part of ear du ri ng pub brawl
A Perth manhasbeen accused of sinking histeeth into another man’s ear - and biting part of it off, scarring him forlifeduring a brawlin acity centre pub.
Thechargeispart of a six-charge indictment 40-year-oldKenneth Morrison - and aco-accused- faced at Perth Sheriff Court.
It is alleged that on May 18, 2019, atThat Bar, in Perth’s South Street, Morrison assaultedKirk Hodgson by punching him, grabbing him and pinning him down.
It is then claimed thathe placed the other man in a headlock and bit off part of his ear, to hissevere injury and permanent disfigurement.

th Street, Dundee, are also said to have pushedMrHodgson on the body, repeatedly punchedhim on the head and body and repeatedly struggledwith him.
Morrison faces a furthercharge of assaulting an unnamed door steward at the popular venue by repeatedly pushing him on the body.
It is also claimed that the two accused repeatedly pushed Euan Muirin South Street, struggledwith him and repeatedly punchedhim on the head and body, to his injury.
A fifth charge alleges that Morrison and Rylanceassaulted another door steward, whoseidentity is atpresent unknown, by repeatedly pushing him, struggling with him in South Street and repeatedly punching him on the body.
Rylance faces the finalcharge on his own of punching PC Neil Hunter on the head in South Street, again on May 18.
Depute fiscal Gail Russell asked thata furthercourtdate be set for June 10.
Both menhad their bail continued meantime.
