Rugby club needs coaching volunteers
Perthshire Rugby Club is looking for new coaching volunteers as its members prepare for the start of the 2021/22 rugby season.
The club is seeking a U16 girls coach and U14 girls team manager ahead of the new campaign in August.
Both roles will “form a vital role” in the development and management of girls rugby at Perthshire in “an exciting opportunity” to be part of the club’s future.
A club spokesperson said: “Perthshire Rugby’s members and volunteers have worked exceptionally hard to build our reputation as one of the leading providers of amateur sport in Scotland.
“Our club values of sportsmanship, pride, respect and inclusion are at the core of everything we do. With the news that Scotland is now moving out of lockdown, we are now looking forward to the start of the Perthshire rugby season 2021/22 in August.
“With this in mind, and to help continue the success of Perthshire Rugby, we are looking to recruit more volunteers for the season ahead.
“We are always looking to increase our pool of volunteers, and we are asking all of our members to consider helping out and volunteering in a role that will keep the club running at its absolute best and continuing to thrive.
“Whether you’re a current player, someone who has hung up their boots or a person who has never picked up the oval ball, you could be a valued rugby volunteer at Perthshire Rugby.
“Our women and girls section continues to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of its journey.
“We are looking for a U16 girls coach and U14 girls team manager.
“Can you help bring out the inner eagle in our girls, and help the team fly high to victory?
“Volunteering for Perthshire is incredibly rewarding, it gives you the change to give back to the club and be more involved in our rugby community, your time and contribution will benefit all of our members.
