Villages to be disrupted by overnight road closures

-

A series of overnight closures will take place on roads at two Perthshire villages.

From Monday, June 14, the C408 at Bankfoot will be closed for three nights from its junction with Innewan Gardens, Bankfoot, to the A9 (Bankfoot North junction) to allow surfacing works to be completed.

The closures will take place from 8.30pm until 6.30am on June 14, 15 and 16.

As a result, Bankfoot North Junction will be closed for the duration of the overnight works and signed diversions will be in place.

These are from Bankfoot to the A9 northbound and southbound, via three-way temporary traffic signals at Bankfoot South Junction.

To Bankfoot from A9 southbound, via new Stanley/Tullybelton Junction and A9 northbound to Bankfoot South Junction.

And to Murthly from A9 southbound, via new Stanley/Tullybelton Junction to Stanley, before joining the B9099.

Pedestrian access at Hunter’s Lodge underpass will be maintained at all times.

In addition, the B9099 Stanley Road will be closed overnight for three nights from Luncarty Football Club grounds to its junction with the C569 Strathord Station, leading to the new Luncarty Link Road, to complete kerbing and surfacing. These works have been scheduled from 9.30pm to 6.30am on June 16, 17, and 18.

Signed diversion routes will be in place and local access for residents at Ordie View will be maintained during the overnight closures. These works are weather dependant.
