Morning worship was led by the Rev Stevie Thomson with Lynne Mitchell as organist. Officebear­ers on duty were Susan Christie, Sandy Duthie and Sheena McNaughton.

Owing to the relaxation of COVID restrictio­ns there is no need to reserve seats.

CHARITY SHOP

The charity shop raised £1713 for church funds.

Sincere thanks to all who contribute­d in any way--donated/collected items/ raffle and tombola prizes ,set up/manned the shop etc. Excess items/goods were donated to Starter Packs, Perth and refugees. A worthwhile effort.

BOWLING CLUB

Our bowling members have had some great weather for our Friday night hat nights and look forward to many more before the end of the season.

REDGORTON AND STANLEY PARISH CHURCH

has been reduced to one metre, which increases the seating capacity, however, folk wishing to attend worship should continue to pre-register by phoning 0750834053­8 on Friday evening between 6pm and 8pm each week.

The Sunday service on August 15 will be in Stanley Village Hall at 10am, led by Rev Ian McFadzean.

METHODIST CHURCH

Sunday morning worship at 11am will be led by Mrs Marcia MacKenzie. Weather permitting, tea and coffee will be served in the church grounds after the service.

At 6pm ‘Oasis’ will be a time of quiet devotion, meditation, evening and devotional hymns and prayers. Everyone will be very welcome.

SWI

The next event on the SWI calendar is high tea in September, date and time TBA.

St Madoes

ST MADOES AND KINFAUNS PARISH CHURCH

There are still two services each Sunday in the Madoch Centre, one at 9.45am and the other, a repeat of the first, at 11am. Teas and coffees are for sale after the services, outside. Seats for the services must be booked in advance, before lunchtime on Friday, using Eventbrite either via the Eventbrite website or smartphone app, the church website or by phoning the Madoch Centre on 01738 861023. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell.
