GLAZING FIRM GETS GOOD VIBES

-

Perth-based secondary glazing specialists Glaze and Save have been recognised for their dedication and drive to tackle environmental change at the VIBES Scottish Environment Business Awards for the second year in a row.

Last year the Shore Road-based company was awarded a coveted Good Practice Award for their efforts to drive sustainability.

Now a multi-agency judging panel has vetted the list of Good Practice winners and selected Glaze and Save as one of only 12 finalists to be shortlisted for an Outstanding Achievement Award.

From this prestigious group, three winners will be chosen and announced at the VIBES Awards 2021 ceremony on October 19.

The company has previously won several awards for a system it uses that turns single glazing into double glazing, eliminating the need to replace windows.

The all-in-one InvisiTherm system is said to be ideal for heritage glass and listed buildings due to its adaptability to a variety of window shapes. The award-winning technology is understood to have been proven to improve thermal insulation, eradicate condensation and draughts and reduce noise.

CEO Tanya Ewing said:“We’re delighted to be recognised by VIBES once again. Right from the inception of the company, our commitment to sustainability and the environment has driven everything we do and we’re proud of our ethical practices that run through the heart of the business.

“We’re passionate about making people fall in love with their properties again, saving energy and reducing waste in the process.”
