New partner for The Old Manse
A five-star country house in Highland Perthshire has partnered up with a prestigious international hotel management company.
The Old Manse of Blair joins properties including Inverlochy Castle, the Isle of Eriska Hotel and Spa and Andy Murray’s Cromlix Hotel that are managed by Inver lochy Cast le Management International (ICMI).
It comes as the Thistle Award winner of VisitScotland’s ‘ best hotel experience’ for Central, Fife and Tayside region sees the completion of a further ten new bedrooms set to open in autumn.
The 10- acre estate has been developed over the past five years by owners Archie and Anne MacDonald and the new rooms bring total capacity on site to 23.
The Old Manse of Blair estate also houses The Orangery fine dining restaurant serving local seasonal produce.
Owner of The Old Manse of Blair Anne MacDonald said: “Joining the ICMI collection marks an exciting next step for The Old Manse of Blair.
“Since purchas i n g what was an unoccupied residential dwelling house back in 2016, we started from scratch.
“Investing, restoring and safe- guarding the historic listed building was the priority, then further developing the estate offering with the addition of The Orangery restaurant and adding the additional rooms in the stables conversion and other estate cottages.
“Now, we have partnered with ICMI to tap into their excellent reputation for incredible guest experiences, something we felt was a natural synergy with The Old Manse of Blair.
“It also marks a significant personal milestone as we step back from day-to-day operations after five years in the Highlands.
“We’re looking forward to the skills and experience the ICMI management team will bring to our hotel and estate as the business continues to grow and we look forward to a really busy year ahead with the return of international travel.”
